I had this happen to me once with a pullied ford GT coming home from the Carlisle All Ford Nationals. One second he was there,

the next he was gone.

I tried roll racing him a few times just for fun, all I had at the time was an intake/tune/4.10 gears and he just absolutely obliterated me. In stock trim a FGT is good for high 11's IIRC, and my car at the time was good for low 14's on a cold day. It wasn't a cold day. As the gates of hell were opening up through his cat back, I told my friend "thats the difference between a moderately quick car and a very fast car".

Guy was cool tho, he and his passenger gave thumbs up and we returned the favor. We must have covered like 30 miles doing over 100mph easily. I've seen this car back at Carlisle twice but I haven't seen the owner. If I ever catch him one year I'll have to ask him if he's the one I chased after in 2011.

I remember my first trip on the Autobahn. We were cruising at 240kph when a 911 cruised past going A LOT faster than we were. Felt like 60 or 70 faster than us. Such a strange feeling.

Yeah I've had it there every year since 2011

One guy in the swap meet area was selling a front and rear bumper, as well as a grille for my car for like $650, one of my friends got the guy down to $400 til he realized he had no way to actually get it home.

That would have been a great deal! I've seen some great stuff in the swap meet section, I've got a C3 Corvette wheel for $50 there. Knock off spinners as all. I don't have a C3 Corvette, but I couldn't resist the deal, Haha.

Yeah, I came across several great cars for sale there. My A4 has terrible towing capacity, and U Haul trailers are too pricey.
